The Semiahmoo Minor Hockey Association organizes a membership of 1,000 amateur youth hockey players and supporting families from the communities of White Rock and South Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Formed in 1966, our association enables any child within our community who wishes to learn and improve their skills of hockey the opportunity to do so within a safe and respectful environment. ...more

SEMI Hockey is an organization that relies upon volunteers to run successfully. Occasionally, SEMI turns to volunteers with professional expertise to provide guidance and advice.

In this regard, SEMI wishes to thank Valerie Dixon for her generous support and provision of expertise to our association. Ms. Dixon is a partner at the national law firm Miller Thomson. She practices in the areas of labour, employment and insurance law. Ms. Dixon's ability to provide sound and timely advice has proven invaluable to our association.
